Three
pairs of dryers which were manufactured in South Korea have been installed in
Rakhine State with an aim to prevent wastage of harvested rice, according to a
report in the Myawady Daily yesterday.
Those
three pairs of dryers have been established in Alethankyaw and Kyeinchaung villages
in Maungtaw township and Buthidaung township.
Moreover,
12 KUBOTA Japan brand harvestors have been sent to Saytipyin, Panphawpyin,
Gwason, Aukkyaungtaung, Theintaung, Thameehla, Kyaunkpaw, Kalarchaung and
Htwaylaungtin villages in Yathedaung township to harve paddy timely.
Meanwhile,
10 harvestors have been supplied to villages in Maungtaw township. Since
October 2017, Myanmar Rice Federation has been provided the assistance to the
villages with the cooperation of Myanmar Agribusiness Public Corporation
(MAPCO).
