MoU on media cooperation

A ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on media cooperation between Republic of the Union of Myanmar Ministry of Information and the State Council Information Office of the People’s Republic of China was held yesterday afternoon in the Zhudao government guest house in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. The MoU was signed by Union Minister for Information Dr Pe Myint and the State Council Information Office Minister Mr. Jiang Jianguo.

At the signing ceremony, matters relating to bilateral media cooperation, cultural and literature cooperation and exchange were discussed. The event was attended by State Council Information Office Vice Minister Mr. Guo Weimin, Director General Mr. Zhang Ye, Director General Mr. Zheng Yaxiong, Deputy Director General Mr. Zhang Hongbin, Ministry of Information Deputy Permanent Secretary U Myint Kyaw and Printing and Publishing Department Deputy Director General U Ko Ko Naing.
