With
the host of entertainment stages, Immanuel Baptist Church on Maha Bandula Park
Road and Saint Mary’s Cathedral on Bo Aung Kyaw Street are abuzz with
Christians and other people of various faiths who enjoy the stage
entertainments.
“Last
year Christmas, we sang the Christmas carols and prayed the verses in the
churches. This year, we thank God and the government for letting to host the
stages in front of Maha Bandula Park and churches. Christmas activities were
opened yesterday. Today we sing the Christmas carols and pray the verses. We
are glad for the activities celebrated today. In fact, Christmas is the “Time
of giving love”. This is marvelous word. Today, we make good deeds such as
distributing the foods to everybody without discrimination in races, religion,
color and etc.. Santa Clauses are also distributing gifts among the people,
said Senior Pastor Rev Dr Yaw Lah of Immanuel Baptist Church.
Christmas
entertainments are seen at Immanuel Baptist Church, Saint Mary’s Cathedral
Christmas and Junction City. Moreover, decorated mobile entertainments can also
be seen.
