In preparation
for 2017 ASEAN Futsal Championship in Vietnam, Myanmar national men’s futsal team
departed for Thailand yesterday morning.
The trip of
Myanmar national men’s futsal team is aiming for training and playing friendly
matches with Thailand’s well known futsal clubs in Thailand.
During the trip,
Myanmar national men’s futsal team will be handled by Head Coach U Htay Myint.
A total of 27 comprising of 20 selected futsal players and seven futsal board
of coaches are joining in the trip.
Myanmar is
targeting to grab gold medal in 2017 AFF Futsal Championship that will be
hosted in Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam from 24 October to 3 November.
All the ASEAN
countries except for Cambodia will participate in the 2017 AFF Futsal
Championship. The tournament is served as qualifiers for the 2018 AFC Futsal
Championship.
