PETROL and
diesel sales remain steady and fuel oil prices are about Ks670 for a liter of
diesel, Ks675 for Octane 92, Ks720 for Octane 95 and Ks690 for premium diesel,
according to the Commerce Ministry.
Between 13 and
19 August, about 53,212 tons of petrol was imported into Myanmar over sea
routes. Imports of diesel increased by 27,220 tons while petrol decreased by 70
tons. During that week, 1,054 tons of petrol and 2,120 tons of diesel were
imported through Tachilek gate 549 tons, through Myeik land point of entry,
4,060 tons of diesel through Muse checkpoint, and 500 tons of diesel through
Lwejel gate.
