State Counsellor
and Union Minister for Foreign Affairs Daw Aung San Suu Kyi received a delegation
led by Ms. Shamshad Akhtar, Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations and
Executive Secretary of ESCAP at 10:00 am yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign
Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.
During the meeting, they exchanged views on promoting cooperation between Myanmar and ESCAP in the areas of sustainable development, cross border trade, development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and trade and investment.
