An amendment to
an agreement on narcotics control and law enforcement between Myanmar and the
United States was signed yesterday in Nay Pyi Taw in a ceremony held at Myanmar
Police Force headquarters, Ministry of Home Affairs.
The ceremony was
attended by Central Committee for Drug Abuse Control secretary Acting Police
Chief Maj-Gen Aung Win Oo and senior officers, US Ambassador to Myanmar Mr.
Scot Marciel and guests. At the ceremony, Acting Police Chief Maj-Gen Aung Win
Oo and US Ambassador to Myanmar Mr. Scot Marciel signed the ALoA (2017).
