Myanmar U-22 to play exhibition match with Malaysia

In preparation for SEA Games, Myanmar U-22 national football team will leave Yangon today to play a friendly match with Malaysia on 13 July in Kula Lumpur.


Myanmar falls in Group (A) together with host Malaysia and this match is intended to gain experiences for both teams before the SEA Games starts.

Myanmar is going to choose the final players for SEA Games according to the match result.

Myanmar team will be headed by Coach Gerd Friedrich for the match. Myanmar will pick up the key players including Aung Thu, Si Thu Aung, Bhone Thitsar Min and Maung Maung Lwin for the match.

After Myanmar arrives back home, they will fight for U-23 Group (F) qualifier going to be started from 19 to 23 July in Thuwanna Stadium in Yangon.
