Myanmar and Viet Nam sign MoU for bilateral real estate development

REAL estate organizations in Myanmar and Viet Nam signed a memorandum of understanding on 18 July in Hanoi with the hope of improving property development sectors in both nations.


The MoU between the Myanmar Real Estate Service Development Association and the Viet Nam Real Estate Service Association is expected to facilitate economic progress and investment.

“Viet Nam, a rapidly developing country, is eager to make investments in Myanmar, and now they have paved the way by signing the MoU,” said U Aung Tun, vice chairman of the Myanmar Real Estate Service Development Association. “Additionally, the MoU will help us understand the procedures, laws and techniques used in Viet Nam. They (the Vietnamese) also want to know procedures for investment in Myanmar.”

The signing ceremony was attended by U Tin Maung and U Aung Tun, chairman and vice chairman of the Myanmar Real Estate Development Association and 15 other members.
