Coordination meeting to hold All-Round Development of Youth Fair

A coordination meeting to organise an All-Round Development of Youth Fair was held in meeting hall of Ministry of Information, Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.

At the meeting Union Minister for Information Dr. Pe Myint said people welcomed the holding of Children’s Literature Festival as it fills a void and introduces literature to children. The youths play an important role in determining the good or bad future of the country, he said, adding that therefore, this event is scheduled to underpin the development of the youths.

“The aim of the fair is to provide a cheerful and encouraging event that will be remembered after years has passed, provide valuable experience, creates a healthy environment that prevents youth from taking the wrong path and obtain a good habit of cooperating with others” said the Union Minister.

Union Ministers Dr. Myo Thein Gyi and Dr. Win Myat Aye then advised on additional matters to be included in holding the All-Round Development of youth fair.

Next, Information and Public Relations Department Director General U Maung Pe explained about the draft programme to hold an All-Round Development of Youth Fair and Permanent Secretary for Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture U Htun Ohn explained about planning for the fair, exhibits and entertainment programs.

Afterward, Director General U Myo Hlaing, Department of Sports and Physical Education, Ministry of Health and Sports, explained about health and sports sector arrangements made for All-Round Development of Youth Fair after which meeting attendees provided suggestions.

The All-Round Development of Youth Fair is being organised with an aim for youth all over the country to share and exchange their knowledge, skill, wisdom, ethic and to create and develop a future Myanmar human society based on the thoughts and ideas of the youth.
