A house and two
cowsheds were set on fire in Marzee village, Maungtaw Township on the morning
of 1st May. The fire damaged the house and the two cowsheds with losses
amounting to Ks 5 lakh.
Upon
interrogation, the owner of the house stated that the fire broke out on the
roof at 2:30 am on 2 May and that he saw Shunaya from the same village as he
went out to check what happened. The house owner Muzay Malhaud filed a case at
the police station. Aung Thabyay local police are interrogating the suspected
arsonist.
