President attends Christmas party

President U Htin Kyaw and his wife Daw Su Su Lwin attended a Christmas lunch and prayer held at the house of the Amyotha Hluttaw Speaker yesterday morning.

The president and his wife were greeted by Amyotha Hluttaw Speaker Mann Win Khaing Than and his wife Nant Kyin Kyi, who said prayers for the President and wife. The Speaker and his wife also greeted and said prayers for other guests, inlcuding Vice President U Myint Swe and wife Daw Khin Thet Htay, Vice President U Henry Van Thio and wife Dr Shwe Hlwum, Chairman of the Constitutional Tribunal U Myo Nyunt, Vice Speaker of Pyithu Hluttaw U T Khun Myat and his wife, Vice Speaker of the Amyotha Hluttaw U Aye Tha Aung and his wife, Union Ministers and Deputy Ministers and wives. Later, the President and his wife enjoyed Christmas lunch with the guests and said prayers before posing for documentary photos.
