Landmines, ammunition seized

While conducting area clearance operations in surroundings of Mongko in Shan State (North), columns of government troops found landmines, two cartridges of M-22, 131 rounds of bullets, an artillery shell, three KIA caps and three MNDAA uniform suits about 1,500 metres northwest of Phaungsai Village yesterday afternoon.

Meanwhile, government troops conducting area clearance operation discovered ten improvised landmines in a dried stream near Nangton Village yesterday morning. Government troops are conducting area clearance operations near the areas.
