Violent attackers torched houses in Kykhutchaung Village, Maungtaw

Government troops extinguished the arson fires on Monday set by the violent attackers, which caused in 17 houses destroyed, officials said.

While inspecting villages burnt down by the violent attackers, the government helicopter spotted a suspicious fire in Yekhutchaung Village, Maungtaw Township around 3 pm on 14th November, and informed the government troops.
Violent attackers have also set fire to houses in villages in order to cause misunderstandings about the security forces that are conducting the clearance operations in the township, authorities said.
Fabricated stories made in collusion with the media have been written in an attempt to receive assistance from the international community, officials said.
