Troops
comprising members of the Tatmadaw and police force yesterday discovered arms
and ammunition looted by armed violent attackers in the October-9 attacks in
Maungtaw Township.
The troops found four BA-94 guns and four cartridges with bullets, one MA-1 with two cartridges with bullets and 20 bullets of 9mm-gun after they dug the suspected site in Warpeik Village in Maungtaw Township.
The troops are conducting the area clearance campaigns in the area.
Armed violent men attacked border guard posts in Maungtaw Township killing nine policemen and took away arms and ammunition.
