Rakhine
State Advisory Commission visited the market in Thechaung Village, Sittway, and
talked with Bengalis and Maramagyis yesterday morning.
Later,
the commission met with fifty local people including elder U Ba kyaw in
Ohntawgyi Relief Camp, fifteen local ethnic people including U Tun Aung Kyaw in
Yechanpyin Village and 25 local ethnic people including U San Tun Kyaw in
Zawpujar Village. The commission talked with them and asked questions.
In the afternoon, the commission visited Setyokya ethnic relief camp. The commission also held a meeting with 13 representatives of UN and INGOs at the Sittway Hotel.
