DPN, as a negotiating body for the United Nationalities Federal Council (UNFC) comprised with seven armed groups which did not sign last year’s nationwide ceasefire agreement. The meeting focused on unfinished discussions from the last meeting, where the two sides negotiated on eight points demanded by UNFC. The committee is currently comprised of government and EAO representatives. The demands also include agreement on military codes of conducts and so on. UNFC is expected to sign the NCA after a mutual agreement is made.
