Military columns help Maramagyi ethnic people to return back home

Shwe Maung, 47, who is a night-watchman from Phaw Ki Taung village in Laung Ton village-tract in Maung Taw went to Maramagyi village from a agriculture camp together with his wife, Shwe May, aged-40, on 13th November. On arrival at Kha Ma (DU-315310), eight Bengalis ordered them to stop and cut them with swords causing wounds on the left nape and under the left ear of Shwe Maung. Concerning that incident, his wife opened file at the Kyein Chaung Police Station.

Due to the incident, a total of 96 people including 42 men and 54 women of 17 Maramagyi households from Phaw Ki Taung village fled temporarily to a monastery in Kyein Chaung village on November 14th.

During his trip to Rakhine State on November 18th, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services, Commander-in-Chief (Army) Vice Senior General Soe Win went to Kyein Chaung monastery and encouraged Marama Gyi ethnic people. He also stressed the need for security of locals and presented food.

Under the security arrangement of the Deputy Commander-in-Chief, these 17 Maramagyi households resettled to their village on November 19th. Military columns brought them back to Phaw Ki Taung village by vehicles and 17 bags of rice were provided to them.

ရခိုင္ျပည္နယ္ ေမာင္ေတာၿမိဳ႕နယ္ ေလာင္းတုံေက်း႐ြာအုပ္စု ေဖာ္ကီေတာင္ေက်း႐ြာေနေ႐ႊေမာင္ (၄၇ႏွစ္) (ဘ)ဦးေအာင္ေဇာ္၊ မရမာႀကီး/ဗုဒၶဘာသာ (ေဖာ္ကီေတာင္စိုက္ပ်ိဳးေရးစခန္းညေစာင့္) သည္ ႏိုဝင္ဘာ ၁၃ ရက္ ညပိုင္းက ေဖာ္ကီေတာင္စိုက္ပ်ိဳးေရးစခန္းမွ ၎ေနထိုင္ရာ ေဖာ္ကီ ေတာင္ မရမာႀကီးေက်း႐ြာသို႔ဇနီးျဖစ္သူေ႐ႊေမ (၄၀ႏွစ္) (ဘ) တူယာႏွင့္အတူ သြားေရာက္ခဲ့ရာ ေဖာ္ကီေတာင္ ေက်း႐ြာအနီး ခမ(ဒီယူ- ၃၁၅၃၁၀)သို႔ေရာက္ရွိစဥ္ ဟာမိတ္တူေဆာင္းပါ ဘဂၤါလီ ရွစ္ဦးတို႔ကလာေရာက္ရပ္တန္႔ေစၿပီး ဟာမိတ္တူေဆာင္းက အသင့္ပါလာသည့္ ဓားျဖင့္ခုတ္ရာ ေ႐ႊေမာင္၏ ဘယ္ဘက္လည္ကုပ္အရွည္ သုံးလက္မခြဲ၊ အနက္လက္မဝက္ျပတ္ရွဒဏ္ရာတစ္ခ်က္၊ ဘယ္နားေအာက္ပိုင္းျပတ္ရွဒဏ္ရာတစ္ခ်က္(မစိုးရိမ္ရ) ရရွိခဲ့ၿပီးဇနီးျဖစ္သူက ႀကိမ္ေခ်ာင္း ရဲစခန္း သို႔ အမႈဖြင့္တိုင္ၾကားခဲ့သည္။

အဆိုပါျဖစ္စဥ္ေၾကာင့္ ဘဂၤါလီအၾကမ္းဖက္သမားမ်ား၏ အၾကမ္းဖက္မႈကိုစိုးရိမ္၍ ေဖာ္ကီေတာင္ ေက်း႐ြာေန ေဒသခံ မရမာႀကီး တိုင္းရင္းသားအိမ္ေထာင္စု၁၇ စု၊ အမ်ိဳးသား ၄၂ ဦး၊ အမ်ိဳးသမီး ၅၄ ဦး စုစုေပါင္း ၉၆ ဦးသည္ ႏိုဝင္ဘာ ၁၄ရက္ နံနက္ပိုင္းက ေနရပ္စြန္႔ခြာၿပီး ႀကိမ္ေခ်ာင္းေက်း႐ြာ ဘုန္းေတာ္ႀကီးေက်ာင္းသို႔သြားေရာက္၍ ေခတၱတိမ္းေရွာင္ေနထိုင္လ်က္ရွိရာ ႏိုဝင္ဘာ ၁၈ ရက္က ဒုတိယတပ္မေတာ္ကာကြယ္ေရးဦးစီးခ်ဳပ္ ကာကြယ္ေရးဦးစီးခ်ဳပ္(ၾကည္း) ဒုတိယ ဗိုလ္ခ်ဳပ္မွဴး ႀကီးစိုးဝင္း၏ ခရီးစဥ္အတြင္း ႀကိမ္ေခ်ာင္းဘုန္းေတာ္ႀကီးေက်ာင္းသို႔ ေရာက္ရွိစဥ္ အဆိုပါ တိုင္းရင္း သားမရမာႀကီးလူမ်ိဳးမ်ားအား ေတြ႕ဆုံအားေပးစကားေျပာၾကားၿပီး တိုင္းရင္းသားမ်ား၏ အသက္ အိုးအိမ္ စည္းစိမ္ လုံၿခဳံေရးအတြက္ လုံၿခဳံေရး ဆိုင္ရာမ်ား ၫွိႏႈိင္းစီစဥ္ ေဆာင္႐ြက္ေပးကာ စားေသာက္ ဖြယ္ရာမ်ား ေပးအပ္သည္။

ဒုတိယတပ္မေတာ္ကာကြယ္ေရးဦးစီးခ်ဳပ္ ကာကြယ္ေရးဦးစီးခ်ဳပ္(ၾကည္း)ဒုတိယဗိုလ္ခ်ဳပ္မွဴးႀကီး စိုးဝင္း၏ လုံၿခဳံေရးဆိုင္ရာမ်ား ၫွိႏႈိင္းစီစဥ္ေဆာင္႐ြက္ေပးမႈေၾကာင့္ အဆိုပါ မရမာႀကီး တိုင္းရင္းသားအိမ္ေထာင္စု ၁၇ စုသည္ ႏိုဝင္ဘာ ၁၉ ရက္မြန္းလြဲပိုင္းတြင္ ေနရပ္သို႔ ျပန္လည္ အေျခခ်ေနထိုင္ခဲ့ရာ ေဖာ္ကီေတာင္ေက်း႐ြာသို႔ ေျပာင္းေ႐ႊ႕မႈကို တပ္မေတာ္စစ္ေၾကာင္းမ်ားက တပ္မေတာ္ေမာ္ေတာ္ယာဥ္မ်ားျဖင့္လိုက္ပါကူညီပို႔ေဆာင္ေပးၿပီး တစ္အိမ္ေထာင္လၽွင္ ဆန္တစ္ အိတ္ႏႈန္းျဖင့္ စုစုေပါင္းဆန္ ၁၇ အိတ္ ေထာက္ပံ့ေပးအပ္ခဲ့ေၾကာင္း သတင္းရရွိသည္။
