The Union Government held a Kahtina
Festival in Nay Pyi Taw on Sunday. President U Htin Kyaw, State Counsellor Daw
Aung San Suu Kyi, Vice President U Myint Swe and senior officials graced the
ceremony and offered Kahtina robes to members of the Sangha.
Over 58.9 million
kyats including over 31.6 million kyats worth donated items and over 27.2
million kyats cash donation have been made for this year Kahtina donation
ceremony by the Union Government.
