Commander-in-Chief
of Defense services, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing arrived in Venice, Italy
yesterday.
He is set to meet his Italian counterpart and other high ranking
military officials in Italy. Prior to that visit, the senior general was in
Brussels, Belgium for a goodwill visit and for attending the European Military
Committee Meeting. He also met with the officials from the European Political
and Security Committee and discussed the outlooks of European Union on Myanmar
political reform and current political and security development in Myanmar. On
the sidelines of his meetings, the senior general also toured in the city of
Antwerp, Cathedral of Our Lady, Town Hall and People’s Square.
