A
ceremony to mark the 27th anniversary of signing of the UN Convention on the
rights of the Child which falls on 20th November was observed at the U Ottama
Hall in Sittway, Rakhine State, Sunday.
In
the opening address, Rakhine State Finance, Revenue, Planning and Economic
Minister U Kyaw Aye Thein said that everyone should enjoy equal rights and
separate rights will be pledged for children same as other people.
It
was followed by entertainment from the children from Sittway Child Care Center.
The State Finance, Revenue, Planning and Economic Minister, the State
Development Affairs Minister, the State Advocate-General and the State Auditor
General presented prizes to winners in an essay competition , “Development is
our Rights”, “To promote rights of Child” and a painting contest.
The
children from kindergartens in Sittway entertained with performances and drama
on the child protection from violence. It was followed by a second session
where attendees viewed children playing.
The
State Finance, Revenue, Planning and Economic Minister, the State Development
Affairs Minister, the State Advocate-General, the State Auditor-General and
State Level officials, teachers and INGOs attended the ceremony.

ရခိုင္ျပည္နယ္ စစ္ေတြၿမိဳ႕ ဦးဥတၱမခန္းမတြင္ က်င္းပျပဳလုပ္ခဲ့ ေၾကာင္းသိရသည္။

အာမခံခ်က္မ်ားေပးသြား ရမည္ျဖစ္ ေၾကာင္း အဖြင့္အမွာစကား ေျပာၾကားရာတြင္ ထည့္သြင္းေျပာၾကားခဲ့သည္။
