Frontline Tatmadaw members receive warm welcome home

 

A ceremony to warmly welcome back the triumphant frontline Tatmadaw members who courageously served their duties was held at the local battalion in Twantay Township of Yangon Region yesterday.

Yangon Command Commander Brig-Gen Tin Min Latt, departmental officials, Myanmar Police Force members, war veterans’ association members, students and locals wel- comed back returning soldiers with heartfelt enthusiasm.

Attendees greeted the returning troops – who served selflessly away from their families to safeguard national stability and the lives and property of citizens — with auspicious Eugenia sprigs and lively musical and dance performances. Then the commander presented cash rewards to the victorious soldiers. — MNA/ KTZH

Military leaders must possess both physical strength and mental resilience

 

 

MILITARY leaders must be capable of making correct decisions with sound judgement, courage and composure, said Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services General Ye Win Oo at the meeting with instructors and cadets as well as post-graduate trainees from the Defence Services Academy and the Defence Services Technological Academy and Tatmadaw members from the military station at the convocation hall of DSA yesterday afternoon.
