Deputy Minister for Construction Dr Thaung Naing, together with Chin State Minister for Electricity, Energy, Industry, Road and Transport U Nay Lin Aung and members of the Chin State Rehabilitation and Reconstruction Committee, yesterday inspected rehabilitation works being carried out by the Rural Road Development Department, as well as the offices of the Falam District Deputy Director (Civil) and the Township Chief Officer (Civil), and Taung Zalap housing.
Company
representatives and department heads responsible for the works explained the
progress of the rehabilitation activities, and the deputy minister coordinated
the requirements.
Furthermore,
the deputy minister and his delegation inspected public recreational and sports
facilities in Falam Township, including the Hrang Thio Football Ground in
Fartoi Ward and the Independence Monument Viewpoint in Kyinmai Ward, to ensure
that these facilities provide suitable spaces for public recreation and
physical exercise.
Yesterday
morning, the deputy minister also inspected roadside cleaning along Viewpoint
Road, the installation of lighting around the trees lining the road, and
landscaping work at the Haranhtiyo Football Ground using a JCB machine.
