Kyaiktiyo cable car to resume operations next week

 

The Kyaiktiyo cable car will resume operations in Kyaikto Township, Mon State, for pilgrims next week following the completion of mechanical maintenance and safety inspections.

The system underwent thorough checks during the rainy season to ensure it could be used safely.

As all this work has now concluded, the service will shortly reopen to facilitate travel for those visiting the Kyaiktiyo Pagoda.
