MRCS Mobile Clinic Brings Healthcare to 477 Haka Residents

 



THE Myanmar Red Cross Society has opened a mo­bile clinic in Haka, Chin State, providing healthcare to 477 residents, the society said.

The Myanmar Red Cross Society launched the a healthcare programme with the support of the Norwegian Red Cross So­ciety. The mobile clinic was set up to provide primary healthcare to residents.

The clinic operated from 24 to 28 August at Bethel Baptist Church and Emmanuel Church in Haka. During this peri­od, 477 residents received primary healthcare, while seven patients requiring further treatment were referred to hospitals.

In addition, under the supervision of the Chin State Red Cross Superviso­ry Committee, Red Cross staff and volunteers pro­vided health education to local communities.
