THE list of hotels and tour operators, which are selected for best service awards that are to be presented by the Ministry of Culture, Hotels and Tourism during the ceremony of World Tourism Day 2026, which falls on 27 September, was released.
In the category of Foreign Direct Investments (FDI), first place goes to Melia Yangon Hotel, second place goes to Chatrium Hotel Yangon and third place goes to Wyndham Grand Yangon Hotel.
In the category of citizen investments, first place goes to Aureum Palace Hotel Resort- Nay Pyi Taw, second place goes to Park Royal (Nay Pyi Taw) and third place goes to Novotel Yangon Max. For best service awards for tour operators (inbound/ outbound), Golden Light Myanmar Travel & Tour Co Ltd wins first place while Picturesque Myanmar Group Co Ltd wins second place and Eastern Beauty Travel & Tour Co Ltd wins third place.
All the award winners are urged to attend the World Tourism Day ceremony without fail. — TWA/ZS
