PRESIDENT of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Min Aung Hlaing laid a wreath to pay tribute at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow yesterday morning.
On his
arrival at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Moscow, the President of Myanmar
and his entourage were welcomed by officials from the government of the Russian
Federation and military leaders from Moscow.
Led by two
vanguard soldiers, the wreath was carried to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier,
where President U Min Aung Hlaing laid the wreath and observed a one-minute
silence in honour of the fallen heroes. Following the wreath-laying ceremony
and tribute, the Guard of Honour of the Russian Federation played the National
Anthem of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.
The
President took the salute of the Guard of Honour and cordially greeted the
officials.
