Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation U Min Naung received a delegation led by Vietnamese Ambassador Mr Nguyen Anh Duc at his office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon to discuss ways to enhance cooperation between the two countries in agriculture and rural development.
They also
discussed the exchange of breeding techniques and advanced agricultural
technologies, biosecurity measures, fish and shrimp health and disease-control
technologies for the shrimp farming sector, investment in animal feed
production and livestock enterprises, and cooperation in agricultural research,
technology and human resource development. The discussions aimed to coordinate
and implement work plans that reflect current circumstances and serve the
interests of both countries.
