Myanmar, Belarus to deepen cooperation in education sector

 

Union Minister for Education Dr Chaw Chaw Sein, who accompanied President U Min Aung Hlaing on his official visit to Belarus, met Belarusian Minister of Education Mr Ivanets Andrey Ivanovich in Minsk yesterday.

The two sides discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation in education and signing memorandums of understanding between the respective education ministries and between the University of Yangon and Belarusian State University.

Myanmar officials also discussed expanding cooperation with Belarus in science and technology, including space technology, unmanned aerial vehicles, small satellites and satellite applications in agriculture, transport and communications.
