MEMBERS U Win Hlaing Oo and Dr Swe Swe Aung of the Myanmar National Human Rights Commission attended the third Life and Safety Seminar, held at the Lotte Hotel in Yangon yesterday.
The seminar was
attended by 50 Korean nationals residing in Myanmar, and Mr Seo Won Ho,
Chairman of the Korea Association in Myanmar, delivered the opening remarks.
During the seminar, discussions were held on matters concerning the safety,
legal protection, financial affairs, and healthcare of the Korean community in
Myanmar. During the session, Commission Member U Win Hlaing Oo delivered a
presentation entitled “Residency and Legal Protection for Korean Residents in
Myanmar”. Following the presentation, participants raised questions and engaged
in discussions on matters of interest and concern. In addition, Commission
Member U Win Hlaing Oo encouraged Korean businesspeople currently investing in
Myanmar to continue expanding their businesses and invited new Korean investors
to explore investment opportunities in Myanmar before concluding the seminar at
5 pm.
