Welcome ceremonies were held yesterday afternoon for Tatmadaw personnel returning from frontline operations in Kayin State to support security and regional stability.
Eastern
Command Commander Brig-Gen Kyaw Naing Oo, officials, Tatmadaw personnel,
families, ethnic traditional performance groups and residents attended the
ceremony held in Kalaw, Shan State (South).
The
returning personnel were honoured with traditional performances and greetings
for their service during security operations. Similar welcome ceremonies were
also held at other Tatmadaw stations.
