Myanmar films will be screened at the 32nd Minsk International Film Festival “Listapad”, to be held in Belarus, according to the Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization (MMPO).
The
organization is currently inviting submissions from Myanmar filmmakers to
participate in the festival, MMPO General Secretary U Chantha Kyi Soe said.
He
said eligible entries must be films produced in 2025 or 2026 and must not have
been commercially screened in Belarus. He added that the festival would create
a new international opportunity for Myanmar’s film industry.
In
addition to competition entries, the festival will also feature non-competition
films and classic movies. Participating films must include English and Russian
subtitles.
Filmmakers
wishing to submit entries to the “Listapad” festival must register with the
Myanmar Motion Pictures Organization by 20 July.
