Indian Navy warships arrive in Yangon for 3-day goodwill visit


Indian Navy warships INS Satpura (F-48) and INS Sunayna (P-57) arrived at the MITT Jetty at Thilawa Port in Yangon yesterday evening for a goodwill visit to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

The warships were welcomed by senior officers and naval personnel from the Tatmadaw (Navy).

Carrying a total of 527 officers and other ranks, the vessels will remain for three days, until 6 May.

During their stay, the crew members will visit well-known landmarks in Yangon and participate in friendly sports competitions.
