Defence Services Deputy C-in-C inspects training schools, regiments, units and Tatmadaw hospital in Bahtoo Cantonment

 

DEPUTY Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services and Commander-in-Chief (Army) General Kyaw Swa Lin, accompanied by senior military officers from the Office of the Commander-in-Chief, the commander of the Eastern Command and officials, inspected training schools, local regiments and units, and the Tatmadaw hospital in Bahtoo Cantonment yesterday.

At the trainee mess hall of the Tatmadaw (Army) Warrant Officer and Non-Commissioned Training School in Bahtoo Cantonment, the General inspected the storage of rations, meat, fish and vegetables at the stores, the cooking process, and meal preparations. He gave instructions on spraying for the prevention of mosquitoes and flies in order to ensure the healthy conditions at the mess halls, systematically keeping rations neat and tidy, growing crops and plantations farmed by the mess halls, and providing nutritious meals for trainees under the set rates. The General cordially greeted the People’s Military Servant trainees.

The General inspected the training sessions in the compound of the training school, hostels, lecture halls and the booth of the Tatmadaw (Army) Officer Training School (Bahtoo).

In the afternoon, the General and party had lunch together with trainees from the infantry commanding officer course at Myawady Mess Hall of the Tatmadaw (Army) Combat Forces Training School.

The General also inspected the Animal Husbandry and Training Battalion in Bahtoo Cantonment and instructed officials to strive to achieve actual success in operating the agriculture and livestock activities, and initiate the agriculture and livestock zone as a model in the region, and other measures.

He observed the display of quality seeds of crops and viewed around thriving seasonal crops in the greenhouses at the compound of the battalion, the packaging process of quality seeds of vegetables in the seed packaging room, and the storage of seeds at the store.

General Kyaw Swa Lin, together with his wife Daw Nang Kue Ku, and officials, visited the Tatmadaw Hospital in Bahtoo Cantonment and individually inquired about the health of Tatmadaw members and their families, about their illness, medical treatment, and progress in health recovery, and presented foodstuffs. The General viewed the Portable Digital Dental X-ray machine provided by the Head of State and the CT scan.

Daw Nang Kue Ku, the wife of the General, and the party visited the Maternal and Child Care Ward, where they comforted the patients receiving medical treatment and presented foodstuffs. The General inspected the local regiments and units by car.
