Union Information Minister urges unity and family spirit in service

Union Minister for Information U Htein Lin met staff members of the Printing and Publishing Department and the News and Periodicals Enterprise in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

During the meeting, the Union minister highlighted the need to inform the public regarding the policies of the President and government, including orders and guidance in a timely manner, activities of the legislative and judiciary pillars, and actions implemented within 100 days by the new government.

He also instructed staff to perform duties with a family spirit in unity, conduct proper measures for the students, including the youths from rural areas, to pursue reading and raise their reading habits, help each other, utilize the machinery and tools systematically and to be aware of fire in summer.

Deputy Minister U Ye Tint explained the operations of the two departments, and the Union minister inspected the editorial departments and printing houses of the Kyemon and Myanma Alinn dailies. On arrival at the Nay Pyi Taw Printing Factory, the Union minister inspected the printing operations and staff housing.
