President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Min Aung Hlaing received a delegation led by Nicaraguan Foreign Affairs Minister Mr Valdrack Jaentschke, who attended the presidential inauguration ceremony, at the Presidential Guest Hall yesterday afternoon.
It was also
attended by President’s Office Union Minister U Khin Maung Yi, Union Minister
for Foreign Affairs U Tin Maung Swe, Ambassador of Nicaragua to Myanmar Mr
Segundo Martin Celero Escorcia.
The
delegation led by the Nicaraguan Foreign Minister discussed their participation
in the President’s swearing-in ceremony as a gesture of recognition of
Myanmar’s political developments, and cordially exchanged views on further
strengthening diplomatic relations between the two countries and enhancing
friendship and cooperation.
After the
meeting, the President had a documentary photo taken together with the
attendees.
