Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman hosts dinner for high-level Heilongjiang delegation

Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Kan Myint Than hosted a dinner yesterday evening at the Jasmine Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw for a delegation led by Mr Xu Qin, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Heilongjiang Province and Secretary of the Heilongjiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China.

The dinner was attended by Union Minister at the President’s Office U Tin Aung San, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Naing Min Kyaw, Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Ms Ma Jia, the vice mayor of the Nay Pyi Taw City-Development Committee and departmental officials, officials from the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Commerce, the President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and the Chairman and members of the Myanmar-China Investment and Trade Promotion Association (MCITP).

Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Kan Myint Than first delivered a welcome speech, followed by Mr Xu Qin, Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Heilongjiang Province and Secretary of the Heilongjiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, who delivered a vote of thanks.

Union Minister U Tin Aung San and the chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council had a friendly dinner with the guests. During the dinner, the Department of Fine Arts under the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism and Culture presented musical performances.

After the dinner, the Union minister, together with the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the People’s Congress of Heilongjiang Province and Secretary of the Heilongjiang Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, presented flowers to the artistes from the Department of Fine Arts who performed and exchanged souvenirs with them.
