MNA Resumes Flights to Hard-to-Reach Cities


With the President’s guidance, Myanmar National Airlines, under the Ministry of Transport, has resumed operating L-410 small aircraft services from Yangon to Manaung and Kyaukpyu in Rakhine State, and from Myeik Airport in Taninthayi Region to Dawei, Bokpyin, and Kawthoung, to facilitate travel to areas with difficult transport access.

The Yangon-Manaung-Kyaukpyu-Yangon flight departed Yangon at 8 am yesterday and arrived back at Yangon International Airport at 11:50 am, while the Myeik-Bokpyin-Kawthoung-Bokpyin-Myeik flight departed Myeik at 8 am and returned at 10:30 am yesterday.
