THE National Defence and Security Council has stated that the first regular session of the Third Amyotha Hluttaw will be convened at the meeting hall of the Amyotha Hluttaw in Nay Pyi Taw at 10 am on 18 March 2026 (Wednesday). Therefore, letters of invitation were sent to Amyotha Hluttaw representatives to attend the Hluttaw session.
Arrangements have been made for accommodation of Amyotha Hluttaw representatives in Nay Pyi Taw as follows: -
(a) Guesthouse 2 of the Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee for the Amyotha Hluttaw representatives who will stay at the guesthouse of the Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee
(b) The headquarters of the Union Solidarity and Development Party for the Amyotha Hluttaw representatives who will stay at the USDP guesthouse
(c) No 3 Transit Centre (Ywataw) for the Defence Services Personnel Representatives for the Amyotha Hluttaw
To attend the Hluttaw session, the Amyotha Hluttaw Office has announced that Amyotha Hluttaw representatives have to report at the Amyotha Hluttaw Affairs Hall I-19 in Nay Pyi Taw, whether they have received letters of invitation, no earlier than 12 March 2026 (Thursday) and no later than 13 March (Friday).
