Russia delivers sunflower oil for humanitarian aid to Myanmar

 



THE Russian Federation shipped more than 250 tonnes of sunflower oil to Myanmar, said the Russian Embassy to Myanmar on 23 January.

Through the World Food Programme (WFP), more than 250 tonnes of sunflower oil fortified with vitamins A and D arrived again in Yangon as humanitarian aid from Russia.

The staff from the Russian Embassy visited the WFP warehouse and discussed the distribution plan and the routes of conveying aid, said the embassy.

Russia affirmed that it is ready to continue assisting Myanmar through mutually or respective UN organizations.
