Regiments and units coordinate with one another in military operations

 

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, accompanied by Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Kyaw Swa Lin, Commander-in-Chief (Navy) Admiral Htein Win and Commander-in-Chief (Air) General Tun Aung, yesterday morning inspected general staff, adjutant and quartermaster affairs of the Triangle Region Command Headquarters.

Speaking on the occasion, the Senior General said that it is necessary for each military unit to successfully carry out operations, security, and territorial control tasks within their respective areas of responsibility.

He underscored that regiments and units under the military command must maintain full combat power and capability, while military training depots must also provide training to trainees.

He continued that all command headquarters, regiments and units from operations have to coordinate with each other in information, transport and security measures to secure success.

The Senior General pointed out that commanders who are closely supervising and managing Tatmadaw members and families, need to continuously assess the operational difficulties, administrative challenges, and livelihood-related hardships faced by their units and Tatmadaw members, and to resolve them as much as possible.

In addition to security and defence measures, he noted that local regiments and units must also strive to the best of their abilities to promote regional development and the welfare of the local population in accordance with the needs of their respective areas.

Commander of Triangle Region Command Brig-Gen Soe Hlaing reported on security, rule of law, eradication of illegal trade, taking action against offenders in online scams and online gambling, cooperation with neighbouring countries, taking security measures of the Mekong River and border regions, eradication of cross-border crimes, combatting human trafficking, and drug eradication, agriculture and livestock farming tasks at military units and selling products to Tatmadaw members and families at reduced prices.
