State Administration Council Member Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Yar Pyae, accompanied by Deputy Minister Maj-Gen Phyo Thant, inspected the newly constructed emergency shelters for the quake-stricken staff yesterday.
They inaugurated the water
purifying machines and Kyauk Sein housing temporary emergency shelters.
They observed the relocation of the
staff and families at the shelters, and highlighted the needs regarding water,
electricity, sanitation and healthcare services. They cordially met the
families of the staff.
The Union minister and party
inspected the compound of temporary shelters and made proper instructions.
