Prime Minister emphasizes fair and honest election

 

STATE Administration Council Chairman and Prime Minister Senior General Thadoe Maha Thray Sithu Thadoe Thiri Thudhamma Min Aung Hlaing said that the State Administration Council is working hard to ensure a fair and honest election.

THE Prime Minister made this statement in a message sent to the 77th Chin National Day ceremony on 20 February 2025.

TO protect all voters from intimidation, coercion, unfair pressure, and group influence, the State Administration Council is also managing to successfully hold a free and fair multi-party democracy general election, which is its ultimate goal.

TO hold such a free and fair general election, it is necessary to have peace and stability throughout the country, and the Chin people, based on their love for the region, the country, and the Union, are urged to be united and work together to ensure peace and stability in the region and a successful election. SIMILARLY, as national peace, stability and rule of law are important for development and nation-building, the Senior General requested all ethnic people, including the Chin people, to work together with the Government to end the armed conflict.
