Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Tin Oo Lwin, accompanied by Chief Minister of Mandalay Region U Myo Aung, visited Shwe Man Taung Youth Sports Training Ground (Mandalay) in Aungmyaythazan Township yesterday evening and addressed athletes from the Ministry’s national Sepak Takraw team and football team, who are currently training to compete in the Fifth National Sports Festival.
The Union minister said that athletes
representing the ministry must participate in the competition with a
sportsmanship spirit and that they need to train hard and with a team spirit
during the training camp. He provided athletes representing the ministry with
supplies, inspected them in the training camp and encouraged them.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs and
Culture will be participating in the fifth National Sports Festival, which will
feature six sports: football, Sepak Takraw, volleyball, futsal, athletics, and
golf.
