SUBVERSIVE media are fabricating phoney news and spreading propaganda to the public, accusing security forces of setting fire to monasteries, schools, and homes and of abducting residents in villages of Kanbalu Township.
According to an on-ground report, PDF terrorists expelled monks from monasteries in villages of Kanbalu Township, such as Kyisu, Kyauktai, and Wattoe, taking control of the religious compounds and schools. As a result, security forces implemented necessary security measures in the area, identifying and seizing bunkers, trenches, handmade guns, rockets, and various hand tools used in mining.
Security forces continued their security measures to ensure that no terrorists took control of neighbourhoods and villages. Malicious media outlets spread false information to cover up the truth and to mislead the public about the security forces’ necessary actions.
