Dining plans for National Sports Festival athletes and officials inspected

 

DEPUTY Minister for Hotels and Tourism U Phyo Zaw Soe, who also chairs the Accommodation and Catering Subcommittee for the Fifth National Sports Festival, visited accommodation camps in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon. He observed the dining arrangements for athletes, officials, coaches, and student performers participating in the opening ceremony.

The deputy minister inspected dining halls prepared for athletes, officials, and coaches. He checked the quality of meals and instructed that food and dishes meet high standards. He also interacted with athletes and coaches during their lunch, offering words of encouragement in a friendly manner.

He also viewed kitchens to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hygienic standards. He instructed kitchen staff to prepare food in compliance with the guidelines of the Food and Drug Administration and emphasized the importance of wearing clean uniforms and maintaining personal hygiene.

Deputy Minister U Phyo Zaw Soe inspected health clinics, subcommittee offices, and sanitation facilities at the accommodation camps. He checked the use of pest control measures and the operation of water purification systems to ensure the cleanliness of water supplies. Additionally, he reviewed dormitories allocated for administrative teams to ensure they were appropriately prepared.
