CHAIRMAN of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, currently in Kunming, met staff families of the Myanmar Consulate-General and scholarship students in Kunming yesterday morning.
Coonsul-General U Thwin Htet Lin and staff
reported to the Senior General on the discharging of duties and training
attendance of scholarship students.
In his speech, the Senior General urged
all to dutifully serve their duties and help each other while serving the State
duties abroad. They have to seek the best solutions to develop the motherland
while studying the history and nature of Myanmar and its development
activities. As the economic drive is crucial in the development process of the
State, it is necessary to carry out mutual businesses between the two countries
and seek opportunities in export and import measures through diplomatic
relations. Good public relations can help smooth the process in all measures of
serving diplomatic missions.
Consulate staff have to dutifully serve
their assignments in order to improve political and economic measures and the
State interests while uplifting the prestige of the State. They have to
comprehensively know political affairs and national causes and contribute to
the State interests as much as they can. Scholarship students from military and
civilian sectors need to learn techniques and knowledge taught carefully and
constantly study them.
The Senior General explained the political
progress of Myanmar, efforts to strengthen the multiparty democratic route and
process to ensure a genuine and honest democratic system, and preparations to
hold a free and fair multiparty democratic general election successfully.
The Senior General presented gifts and
cash awards for military and civilian trainees studying in China and staff
families of the Consulate-General to the Myanmar Ambassador to China, the
Myanmar Military Attache (Army, Navy and Air), the Myanmar Consul-General in
Kunming and trainees.
The Senior General had a look around in
the Consulate-General.
