China donates foodstuffs, stationeries in flood-hit villages

 

The China International Trust and Investment Corporation (CITIC Myanmar) and China Foundation for Rural Development (CFRD) donated K36,150,000 worth of foodstuffs and school materials for flood victims after Typhoon Yagi at the Disaster Management Centre of the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement yesterday.

CITIC Deputy Managing Director Mr Ma Chuanfu and CFRD Programme Manager Ms Yan Tianjia, explained the donation for flood victims based on a positive attitude, and Deputy Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement U Soe Kyi expressed gratitude for the donation.

Donated items included rice, beans, instant noodles, and stationeries, and donors personally provided these items to flood-hit villages in Nay Pyi Taw.
