The second day of the national level of the 25th Anniversary (Silver Jubilee) Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competitions 2024 was held at a designated in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
The Maha
Gita (classic song) contest comprising the basic education level (aged 10 to
15) male contest and the amateur level (second class) female contest was held
at the Signing Room of Myanmar International Convention Centre II.
The modern
song contest, which included the amateur level (first class) female contest and
the higher education level male contest, took place at the Banquet Hall of MICC
II.
Contestants
participated in the dance contest, which consisted of the amateur level (second
class) male contest and the higher education level female contest at Plenary
Hall of MICC II.
The
song-composing con test took position at the Yinkyay Hmu Yadana Hall of the
Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture with basic education level (aged
15-20) and amateur level (second class) contests.
The amateur
level (second class) female piano contest, amateur level (second class) male
piano contest and basic education level (aged 10-15) male piano contest took
place at the News Briefing Room of MICC II.
The Mini
Theatre of the National Museum (Nay Pyi Taw) hosted the harp contest, which
consisted of the amateur level (second class) female contest, basic education
level (aged 10-15) male contest, amateur level (second class) male contest and
basic education level (aged 15-20) female contest and basic education level
(aged 10-15) female contest.
Contestants
took part in the amateur level (first and second classes), higher education and
basic education level (aged 15-20), and higher education level Dobat contests
at the training theatre of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture.
Yesterday’s
competition arranged the participation of contestants in the orchestra troupe
contest, amateur level (first and second class) female and male contests at
Wunzin Minyarzar Hall of the National Museum (Nay Pyi Taw).
Taw Win Yoke
Sone theatrical troupe of Yangon Region took part in the amateur level (first
class) Vesantara Drama contest, whereas Phan Kha Myay theatrical troupe of
Magway Region competed in the amateur level (first class) Maha Janaka drama
contest “Maha Janaka”.
The
contestants’ competitions at yesterday’s events were attended by members of the
State Administration Council, union-level dignitaries, deputy ministers,
regional and state ministers, departmental personnel, staff families, and
contestants’ parents.
There were
2,306 contestants in relevant events of the 24th Myanmar Traditional Cultural
Performing Arts Competitions. A total of 2,584 contestants are now
participating in relevant events at the national level of the 25th (Silver
Jubilee) Myanmar Traditional Cultural Performing Arts Competitions 2024.
