Security forces deny burning of Sipa Village in Budalin

SUBVERSIVE media outlets are once again spreading false claims, alleging that security forces entered Sipa village in Budalin Township, Sagaing Region, on 17 October and burned houses in the village.

In reality, it was the PDF terrorists who attacked the security personnel for maintaining order near the village using heavy weaponry, which destroyed homes. The security forces did not set fire to the village. According to an official stationed in the area, there was a crossfire during the attack, after which the terrorists retreated.

These malicious media outlets have distorted the truth regarding the recent violence in Sipa village, downplaying the damage caused by the heavy gunfire from PDF terrorists. They continue to spread fabricated narratives that misrepresent the actions of security forces working to restore peace and stability in the region. Such propaganda seeks to mislead the public and undermine the efforts of the security forces.
